Atlee Reilly manages the education law practice at Disability Rights Maine, Maine's protection and advocacy agency for people with disabilities. First in legal services, then in private practice, and now at DRM, Atlee has represented students and their families on a wide range of education-related issues for the last twelve years. He received his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, his M.Ed. from Arizona State University, and his B.A. from Bowdoin College. Prior to becoming an attorney, Atlee was an elementary school teacher.

150 foster children since becoming licensed in 1972. Bette laughs when she thinks about how she imagined retirement and the reality at 71. She is now a caregiver, through Probate Guardianship, to a super active toddler who happens to be diagnosed as autistic as well as a licensed foster parent to a 3-year-old grandchild.
Bette has worked in the child welfare field as an advocate for adoptive, foster and birth parents of special needs children since 1980 and has been providing an array of training since 1984. Bette specializes in providing training to individuals caring for children who have had prenatal exposure to alcohol and drugs. She is the former Executive Director of Adoptive and Foster Families of Maine Inc. & The Kinship Program, and currently the Kinship Supervisor.

Barbara Ford is the Adoptive Parent to 7 children and one birth child. She is "Glamma" to 6 very special grandchildren. She and her husband Ed have been licensed Resource Parents from1989 to 2019 caring for over 100 children in that time. They also hosted International Students from Asia for Bangor Christian Schools for 8 years. The Ford's provided services through adult shared living. Barbara has worked in a variety of capacities in the child welfare system over the past 30 years. Barbara is the President of Adoptive and Foster Families of Maine's Board of Directors. She loves traveling throughout the United States presenting at Child Welfare conferences. Barbara is the Executive Director of "The Shepherd's Godparent Home" a residential maternity shelter for women in crisis. She is the founder of "Nikki's Hope" a transition parenting program of the shelter as well as "Barb's Dwelling Place" shelter for women and children who are victims of domestic abuse. As a breast cancer survivor, Barbara has become an advocate and mentor for others facing their cancer diagnosis. Barbara is the founder of "The Image Project" a wig service at Cancercare of Maine.

Marcus is the Director of Training and Implementation at the Child Welfare League of America, and is also co-owner of Welcome 2 Reality, LLC which focuses on providing media literacy and education for students and parents regarding media literacy and technology.

Kim is a program manager at North American Council on Adoptable Children, where she works on a number of projects that support foster, adoptive, guardianship, and kinship children and families. With 29 years in child welfare work, she has provided training and consultation on foster care, adoption, trauma and recovery, and youth permanency issues both nationally and internationally. She and her husband, Buddy have six children, four of whom were adopted as older children from the public foster care system.
